19 RR distribute ration and food kits among Shangus fire victims

ANANTNAG — Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles on Tuesday distributed ration and food kits among fire victims at Pahloo village in Shangus area of Anantnag district in South Kashmir.

On Monday, a residential house of Nisar Ahmad Mir, son of Late Dilawar Mir was gutted in Pahloo village.

The fire caused the entire ration storage in the attic of the house to damage. The family was in need of immediate help in terms of food material to sustain.

After which, the sarpanch and other prominent people of the area approached the Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Kazhwan COB.

In this regard, Major Pinaki and his company visited the victim family and distributed food to them.

Locals lauded the efforts made by the Army for helping the poor people. — (KIMS)
