3.5 Magnitude earthquake hits Kishtwar

JAMMU (KIMS) — An earthquake of Magnitude 3.5 on the Richter Scale hits the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory on Saturday.

However, there were no reports of any loss of life or damage to the property.

The earthquake, with its epicentre in Kiar occurred at around 05:34 pm at a depth of 10 km, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said.

The earthquake hits at latitude 33.29 degrees and longitude 76.67 degrees, it said. — (KIMS)
