40-year-old man allegedly commits suicide in Shopian

SHOPIAN – A 40-year-old man died after he allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his home in Pinjura village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday.

He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.

He is survived by two minor children and wife.

Meanwhile, a police official quoting to news agency KNO said, “a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated.”
