Srinagar: A Government Primary School building was gutted in a fire mishap at Nadigam village in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday evening.
Locals told that a massive fire broke out this evening at Government Primary School building Nadigam following which they called officials and tried to douse off fire.
They said that the school building was partially damaged till the fire was doused, adding that the fire tenders couldn’t reach on time as snow remained accumulated on the roads leading to the school.
They said that four rooms of the school were damaged.
Meanwhile, a police officer sad that fire was put under control while the cause of fire is being ascertained. (KNO)
