Suspected militant flee after firing on naka party in Srinagar

SRINAGAR — Suspected militants travelling in a car have fled after firing some gunshots on a naka party of security forces when they were asked to stop in Soura area in Kashmir capital Srinagar.

Official sources said that police and 21 Battalion of CRPF had laid a joint naka in Soura and during searches a vehicle was asked to stop.

However suspected militants inside the car opened fire which was retaliated, but the car fled from the spot.

A police officer confirmed the incident and said no one was injured in the incident and police have launched massive searches to nab the ‘the suspected militants. — (KDC)
