SRINAGAR — Yasmeen Khan, a 26-year-old young and well known journalist from Srinagar city has turned her passion into skills by introducing valley’s first press Academy by the name of Harvard Press Academy.
The Academy is aimed to train students in mass communication, journalism and development communications.
Prominent Journalists and academicians have shown support to the startup as this has been the need in the valley as no such academy has been set here before.
People in Kashmir have limited their kids to Medical and non-Medical courses, they need to explore and know about the opportunities media studies has across the globe, said Yasmeen Khan.
