SHOPIAN — MRM wing of RSS South Convenor Mohd yousuf Mir on Tuesday visited various areas of shopian district including Dachoo & Nagbal where he met with numerous public delegations.
In a statement issued here, Mohd Yousuf Mir said that numerous public delegations apprised about their existing issues besides they also expressed satisfaction over the prompt Work by the administration.
He also assured the people of every possible help in the future while saying that he is always available at their back and call whenever they require his help.
“It is my firm commitment that problems faced by the locals will be always resolved on prompt basis and every effort will be put forth to relieve the miseries of people in general,” he said.
Mir, also thanked Deputy Commissioner Shopian Sachin Kumar (IAS) for activating men and machinery to ease sufferings of populace of the district.He also thanked officials and ground staff of Mechanical Engineering Department, R&B and PHE for timely clearing snowbound roads and restoring basic Necessities.
He also visited BDO Office Chitragam and checked the attendance of the staff.On the occasion, he found the BDO and some of his staff absent from duty.”it is very unfortunate that some employees were found absent at Block Office Chitragam and appealed employees to remain punctual to their offices and ensure prompt redressal of public grievances so that public cant face any difficulties.
He further added that BDO is holding additional charges for two more blocks appealed Deputy Commissioner Shopian to sent other BDOs for such blocks so that public cant face any problems and all Developmental works will be held on time.
During the visit he also took stock of situation on ground zero where he inquired about electricity supplies and water facility made available to the people in the aftermath of recent heavy snowfall.
