4G internet to be restored in next week across J&K, says Govt

Srinagar (KIMS): Government of India once again deprived residents of Kashmir from enjoying basic rights by barring internet services in South Kashmir on Friday, February 5, 2021.

The internet services were snapped on February 5 ahead of Celebration of ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ in Pakistan. Every year February 5 is celebrated as ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ in Pakistan.

Meanwhile according to an Government official, 4G internet services will be restored in next week across Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

After receiving green signal from intelligence, the Government of India took the step to restore 4G internet services in Jammu and Kashmir after 18 months.

The 4G internet services were bared across Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019 when Government of India Abrogated Special Status of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the State into two Union Territories. (KIMS)
