SRINAGAR — Many volunteers from various areas of South, North and Central Kashmir have joined We the Helping Hands Foundation (a non-government organisation) NGO on Thursday, January 27, 2022, after witnessing a mass wedding ceremony organised by said NGO on January 23, 2022, in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, in accordance with COVID-19 SOP’s, in which 20 couples from poor households were married.

We were impressed by the event and decided to work with the organisation, stated the newly formed volunteers.

Mr. Umar Wani, the Chairman of organisation, and Senior Group leader Waqar Fayaz extended a warm welcome to the young volunteers who had travelled from various areas of Kashmir to join the organisation.

“Helping the poor in these situations is an important need of the hour.”

“Our NGO’s goal is to make education universal, and we’re in desperate need of volunteers who want to make a difference in their society,” Wani added.

On this day, though, numerous concerns were explored.

Meanwhile, the newly enlisted volunteers committed to do everything possible to help the society.

Waqar Fayaz said that our moto is to serve better for the welfare of poor and underprivileged people from every nook and corner of valley.
