SHOPIAN — Suspected militants on Tuesday evening fired upon and injured a policeman at Amshipora village in South Kashmir’s Shopian district, leaving him critically injured.
He has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Wagay, Son of Ghulam Hassan Wagay.
Reports said the policeman was fired upon and injured by suspected militants at his native village. He was rushed to District Hospital Shopian for treatment.
Meanwhile, whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
