Srinagar: Former Janta Dal United (JDU) President for Jammu and Kashmir Ghulam Mohammad Shaheen will launch the new political party backed by Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
According to report by Kashmir News Trust, this political party will be backed by Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs.
Shaheen said, “A meeting of the central leadership was held in Srinagar in which it was unanimously decided to launch a new political party that will work for the common people”.
“We will highlight the issues of common people and will leave no stone unturned in resolving the problems of the people,” he said.
Shaheen recently quit as the President of Janta Dal United (JDU) for Jammu and Kashmir due to differences with party leadership.
