PM Modi inaugurated World’s First Nano Urea (Liquid) Plant at Kalol Gujrat, Shopian farmers participated

SRINAGAR — The Farmers in the Shopian participated in a live session of the inaugural ceremony of the world-first Nano Urea (Liquid) plant inaugurated by PM Narender made at Kalol Gujrat. The live session for the Farmers of Shopian was organised by IFFCO in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Balpora, Shopian (KVK).

It is believed that the nano urea technology will bring revolution in Horticulture and Agriculture as a plant consumes 80 to 90 per cent of nano urea and it’ll be the cheapest for Farmers as urea Fertilizers and will have higher results than urea Fertilizer.

Farmers were delighted to see such events were organised for them. They also were keen to see such innovative products being launched in the market with the coordination of GOI and IFFCO.

They appreciated the presence of PM Modi in the live session and lauded their keen interest in making better agricultural avenues.

They were happy that the horticulture department has been upfront in the betterment of the agricultural industry and more stress was put upon the eco-friendly product.

Meanwhile, live session programs were running in SKUAST-K, all KVK and cooperative societies throughout the valley which were organised by IFFCO.

In presence of district head KVK Shopian Dr Parmeet Singh, KVK Scientist, senior area manager for IFFCO UT J&K, Showkat Ahmad Bhat, Pesticides Association Shopian President, a larger number of farmers and other officials of the KVK Shopian were present on the occasion. — (KIMS)
