SHOPIAN — One armyman was killed while as two others sustained injuries in a blast inside their private hired vehicle at Sedaw area in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
Reports said, three soldiers were injured in a blast that took place inside private hired vehicle at Sedaw area of the district. The trio were shifted to 92 Base Army Hospital Srinagar for treatment.
They said among the injured one armyman identified as Praveen Kumar was shifted from 92 Base Army Hospital Srinagar to Udhampur in a critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.
Two others are undergoing treatment.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that the nature of the blast is being investigated. — (KIMS)
