15kg IED recovered in Armulla; two militant associates arrested, says police

SRINAGAR — Police on Thursday said that it along with security forces averted a major tragedy by recovering 15kg Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at Armulla, Lassipora village in Litter area of Pulwama district.

It said two militant associates involved in this crime have been arrested and a case has been registered under relevant sections of law.

Further investigation into the case is underway, it said.

It is pertinent to mention that government forces on Thursday recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at Armulla, Lassipora village of the district after that Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was called in to diffuse it. — (KIMS)
