KUPWARA — The murderer of a minor girl who was killed in Khurhama Zab area of Lolab in Kupwara district will be behind the bars soon, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kupwara, Yougal Manhas said on Thursday.
The Police will soon crack the murder case of a 7-year-old girl and that the murderer will also be behind the bars soon, SSP Kupwara said.
The throat slit body of the girl was found near her residence in Khurhama Zab area of Lolab and police have taken cognisance of the matter, he said as per news agency KNO, adding that the investigation into the matter is underway and the murderer will be arrested soon.
He also urged the locals to co-operate with them in the investigation and share input, if any, with the police.
