Mainly dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours: MeT

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Saturday forecast mainly dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather was dry and sunny in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Mainly dry weather is likely in J&K during next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 9.1 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 4.6 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 7.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Saturday.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 21.2 degrees Celsius, Katra 19.4 degrees Celsius, Batote 13.2 degrees Celsius, Banihal 9.3 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 8.9 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded 4.6 degrees Celsius and Leh 1.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
