Anantnag: Due to Heavy snowfall the normal life paralyses across the Valley. Power Development Department Claims that they have restored Power Supply across valley but unscheduled power cuts irk Anantnag Villagers.
Meanwhile, Anantnag district continued to reel in darkness. “It had just started snowing when the electricity was snapped in our area. It has been more than 5days now and we only got to see the power for barely 5 hours in 5 days that too in intervals,” said a local.
The locals told that we face immense problems due to unsheduled power cuts. We pay electricity bills on time but without scheduled power supply, a local added.
Many times we have approached to Concerned authorities regarding this matter but only assurances was given and nothing was done on ground zero.
A local told that we have recently contacted a PDD employee who perform their duty in said jurisdiction regarding restoration of power supply but he scold on phone and behave rudely.
Residents have appealed to District Adminstration as well as Exon PDD take an intiative step to solve the problem faced by villagers.
