Scholars Scientific Institute Moominabad celebrates Annual Day

ANANTNAG, Sheikh Nadeem (KIMS) — The Scholars Scientific Institute, Moominabad Anantnag, on Wednesday celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and staff.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a spiritual tone for the day.

Students presented a series of cultural performances, including songs, skits, speeches, and dances, highlighting themes of education, culture, and social values.

The audience — comprising parents, teachers, and local personalities — applauded their performances.

Addressing the audience, the Principal of the institute, Masrat Jan, said that such events provide a valuable platform for students to showcase their hidden talents and develop confidence in various fields beyond the classroom.

She emphasized that education is not confined to textbooks alone but also includes moral, cultural, and social learning that shapes a child’s overall personality.

“Teachers carry a great responsibility in guiding and nurturing young minds,” she said, assuring that the institute will continue to extend full support and facilities to students excelling in various fields such as art, culture, and crafts.

Earlier, the Principal formally welcomed the students, parents, and staff, expressing gratitude for their contribution in making the institute a center of learning and discipline. — (KIMS)
