SRINAGAR (KIMS) — After remaining closed for a day due to snow accumulation, the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway was reopened for vehicular movement on Wednesday.
Officials said passenger vehicles have been allowed to move from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa.
However, Mughal Road, SSG Road and Sinthan–Kishtwar Road continue to remain closed for traffic due to snow accumulation.
The officials have advised commuters to check the latest road status through the official social media handles of the J&K Traffic Police or contact the Traffic Control Units (TCUs) at Jammu, Srinagar and Ramban before undertaking their journey. — (KIMS)
