SHOPIAN (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday said they have attached an immovable property allegedly acquired through proceeds of narcotics trade in Shopian district.
According to a police statement, the attached property belongs to Arshid Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Rehman Dar, resident of Nadender Trenz Imamsahib Shopian.
Police said the property, measuring 14 marlas and valued at ₹10,07,300, was identified as having been acquired through proceeds generated from the illegal trade of drugs and narcotics.
The property was attached in connection with FIR No. 34/2023 registered at Police Station Imamsahib, the statement said.
Police said the attachment proceedings were carried out in the presence of a duly constituted police team, Executive Magistrate, Lambardar and Chowkidar to ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain transparency. — (KIMS)
