JAMMU (KIMS) — Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu, visited flash flood-affected areas of Rajouri and Poonch districts to assess the ground situation, review restoration efforts, and oversee relief measures.
In Rajouri district, the senior officers inspected the flood-hit Bella area, taking stock of the damage and the ongoing restoration of essential infrastructure and services.
They also visited Dara Sangla in Surankote, Poonch, where they met affected families and reviewed relief and rehabilitation measures being carried out by the administration.
The officers directed the concerned departments to expedite restoration works, ensure the early resumption of essential services, and provide all possible assistance to families affected by the recent flash floods. — (KIMS)
