SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Cyber Police Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday cautioned media organisations and the general public against sharing, publishing or circulating photographs and videos related to the recent terror incident in Anantnag, warning that violators will face legal action.
In a post on X, Cyber Police said, it has been observed that certain media organisations and members of the public are circulating visuals related to the terror attack on various platforms.
Cyber Police urged all media organisations and the public to refrain from sharing, publishing, forwarding or circulating such content, stating that its dissemination may hamper the ongoing investigation and compromise public security.
It also warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the advisory under the relevant provisions of law. — (KIMS)
