SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday visited the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar to inquire about the health and well-being of the Amarnath Yatra pilgrims injured in the road accident at Ganiwan in Ganderbal district.
In a post on X, the Lieutenant Governor said by the grace of Baba Amarnath, all 39 pilgrims admitted to the hospital following the accident are in stable condition and responding well to treatment.
Sinha directed the hospital administration to provide the highest standard of medical care to the injured pilgrims.
He also instructed senior officials to ensure that all necessary assistance and personal care are extended to the injured devotees and that arrangements for their safe return to their hometowns are prioritised after their recovery. — (KIMS)
