SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the implementation of the CAPEX Budget 2026–27, directing all departments to accelerate the execution of approved works and ensure timely utilisation of funds.
Chairing the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed the need to maintain the highest standards of quality, transparency and accountability in the execution of development projects.
He called for regular monitoring of ongoing works and the swift resolution of bottlenecks to prevent delays. Emphasising timely completion of projects, Omar Abdullah said development initiatives must be implemented efficiently so that their benefits reach the people without unnecessary delay.
The meeting was attended by all Cabinet Ministers, the Chief Secretary, Administrative Secretaries and other senior officers, who reviewed the progress of departmental projects and discussed measures to improve the pace of implementation. — (KIMS)
