SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved two projects worth ₹10.95 crore for the preservation, restoration and upgradation of two important religious sites in Anantnag district.
According to a post on X by the Office of the Chief Minister, ₹5.03 crore has been sanctioned for the restoration and renovation of Ziyarat Sharief Khiram, while ₹5.92 crore has been approved for the repair and renovation of Shiv Mandir at Thajiwara in Bijbehara.
The government said the projects are aimed at preserving the sanctity and heritage of both religious places while improving facilities for devotees.
The initiative is expected to enhance the infrastructure at the two shrines and facilitate a better experience for devotees visiting the sites. — (KIMS)
