KULGAM — Police on Saturday conducted a counter-terrorism mock drill at the famous Aharbal tourist destination in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district to assess security preparedness and strengthen coordination among security agencies.
The exercise was conducted under the supervision of SSP Kulgam and led by DySP Operations Manzgam. It involved SHO Manzgam, SOG Manzgam, Markhor Manzgam and CRPF’s 18 Battalion.
The drill aimed to assess the operational readiness of security personnel and their ability to respond swiftly and effectively to potential security threats at the tourist destination.
It also focused on improving coordination and communication among participating agencies to ensure a prompt and coordinated response during emergency situations. — (KIMS)
