HANDWARA — Police have arrested an accused in connection with the pasting of anti-national and provocative posters at a public place in Handwara, officials said on Thursday.
Police have registered FIR No. 259/2026 at Police Station Handwara under relevant provisions of law.
During the investigation, the suspected involvement of overground workers (OGWs) and other individuals in the alleged conspiracy came to light, police said.
Efforts are underway to identify and arrest other persons involved in the case. Further investigation is in progress to uncover the network and establish the individual roles of all those involved. — (KIMS)
