JAMMU — Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma on Monday visited the general area of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir to review operational readiness and assess the prevailing security situation in the hinterland, the Army said.
Accompanied by representatives of intelligence and other security agencies, Sharma was briefed on ongoing counter-terrorism operations and measures being taken to further strengthen the security grid through joint intelligence frameworks and better coordination among all stakeholders.
The Army Commander commended the troops for their commitment, high operational preparedness and professionalism while operating under challenging conditions, the Army’s Northern Command said in a post on X. — (KIMS)
