Rooftop of residential house gutted in fire at Shangus, army’s efforts on time saved precious lives

ANANTNAG — The rooftop of a residential house was on Monday gutted in a fire incident at Pahloo area of Shangus in Anantnag district in South Kashmir.

Reports said, the fire broke out in residential house of Nisar Ahmad Mir, son of Late Dilawar Mir, a resident of Pahloo and damaged rooftop and essential commodities in the house.

Soon after the fire broke out local Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles Kazhwan COB reached the spot douse the flames and the fire was brought under control, reports added.

The cause of fire was due to short circuit. However, there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the incident. — (KIMS)
