SRINAGAR — As the educational institutions are set to reopen after nearly three years in Jammu and Kashmir from next month, a private School here in Srinagar has pushed the students as the parents to the wall as it has issued a notification, claiming that the transport facility cannot be provided for the month of March.
Parents, who have enrolled their wards in Iqbal Memorial Institute (IMI) Syed Abad, Bemina, Srinagar said that the school management has issued a notification in which it has stated that the transport facility for the month of March-2022.
They said that the schools are reopening after the gap of nearly three years and it is unfortunate that the students are being deprived of the facilities at the institute, adding that there should have been proper arrangements from the School management ahead of reopening of the educational institutions, but one fails to understand that for what purpose the parents are being asked to pay hefty amount as monthly fee.
“The school administration has been caught napping and the absence of transport facility is certainly going to add to the miseries of the parents and students as well,” they said. — (KNO)
