Arms, ammunition recovered in Poonch, says police

POONCH — The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a militant hideout at Nabna village in Surankote area of Poonch district and recovered arms and ammunition.

Police said that the hideout was busted after joint team of police and army launched an operation in the upper reaches of Nabana village in Surankote, Poonch.

They said that two AK rifle, a pistol, five grenades, sixty nine bullets and some empty magazines were recovered from the hideout adding that search operation was going on in the area. — (KIMS)
