ANANTNAG — The Indian Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles organised International Education Day for youth at Dailgam village in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles said, “On International Education Day to contribute positively towards the future of youth of Anantnag Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles Dyalgam COB organised a motivational interaction lecture for youth at Dialgam, of Anantnag District.”
“The aim of the programme was to facilitate youth with the awareness of opportunities available to them after completion of 12th Class,” they added.
Company Commander Major Harshdeep organised the international Education Day. On this occasion teachers highlight the important points on Education Day. The aim was to promote education through discussion and provide basic information about education.
Students studying in various classes attended the session. They were accorded an opportunity to interact with the guest speakers on completion of the formal lecture and clarify their doubts.
The event was conducted keeping in mind of all COVID-19 protocols and maintaining social distancing norms.
The event was appreciated by the locals and youth.
The locals lauded the efforts of the Indian Army especially Major Harshdeep and his team and expressed hope that such initiatives will help them in shaping a better future for themselves.
