SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Ashish Kumar Mishra, an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer takes charge as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Srinagar, Officials said on Friday.
Officials said, “Rakesh Balwal, an Indian Police Service (IPS), Officer, who was Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Srinagar was relieved and repatriated to his home cadre Manipur.”
“Both the officers today handed and took over the charges after recent reshuffle in the police administration,” they said.
On Wednesday, the Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir relieved and repatriated Rakesh Balwal, IPS, to his home cadre Manipur while Ashish Kumar Mishra, IPS, SSP Aanantnag was transferred and posted as SSP, Srinagar. — (KIMS)
