KULGAM — Two days after a BJP leader was killed in southern district, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Noorabad Kulgam constituency incharge on Thursday resigned from the basic membership of the party.
Mubarak Ahmad Bhat, a constituency incharge while announcing his resignation from the party said that he has nothing to do with BJP from now onwards.
“I hereby resign from the party. I request people to forgive me, if my actions have hurt them in the past,” Bhat said.
“I have small kids, I have no concern or affiliation to any political party especially to BJP in future,” he said. — (KNO)
