SRINAGAR — The bridge on Shopian-Kulgam highway located at Chawalgam area of Kulgam district which was damaged on 2nd July should be repaired on war-footing basis.
The commuters suffer as they have to drive through long routes to reach their destination.
Dr. Rizwan while noting the issue told Kashmir Independent Media Service – KIMS that the bridge should be repaired on war-footing basis so that commuters sufferings will ease.
“At least diversion or baily bridge should be constructed at Chawalgam village immediately to ease the suffering of commuters,” said Dr. Rizwan
Dr. Rizwan has also appealed authorities especially district administration Kulgam to take this matter on priority basis and start construction of the bridge. — (KIMS)
