BSF Constable injured after service rifle went off accidentally in Baramulla

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A Border Security Force (BSF) Constable was injured on Monday after his service rifle went off accidentally in Baramulla district of North Kashmir.

According to reports, the incident occurred at around 8:15 am when Constable Manesh Maghwal, deployed on patrolling duty, accidentally fired from his INSAS rifle. The bullet hit his neck, leaving him injured.

He was immediately rushed to the Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla, where he is undergoing treatment. His condition is stated to be stable. — (KIMS)
