CRPF Constable dies of cardiac arrest in Anantnag

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable died of cardiac arrest in Anantnag district of South Kashmir on Friday.

According to reports, the constable lost consciousness suddenly around midnight while on camp patrolling duty in the Mattan area of the district.

He was immediately taken to PHC Mattan for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead. Preliminary medical examinations suggest cardiac arrest as the cause of death.

The deceased has been identified as Azad Ahmad Najar, son of Gul Mohammad Najar, a resident of Sheikhpora Uttersoo in Anantnag district.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case in this regard. — (KIMS)
