CRPF’s 14th Battalion organizes Free Medical Camp at Reshi Nagri Shopian

SHOPIAN [Sheikh Nadeem] (KIMS) — The Central Reserve Police Force’s 14th Battalion organized a free medical camp for the local population in the Reshi Nagri area of Shopian district.

Hundreds of people benefited from the camp, receiving care from expert doctors from both the CRPF and the civil sector.

The camp was inaugurated by senior citizens of the Reshi Nagri area, alongside Commandant of the 14th Battalion, BK Jha.

The CRPF is conducting such programs across the Shopian district, particularly in remote areas where access to medical facilities is limited.

“To provide medical assistance, we are organizing these camps in an orderly manner,” said the Commandant.

He further mentioned that more camps will be held in the future, especially in remote areas with limited access to medical services.

“In addition to medical camps, we are also organizing cricket tournaments, volleyball games, and other activities to encourage youth to come forward and build a better future for our country,” he added.

Local residents expressed their gratitude, saying they are very thankful for the medical camp held in this remote area, which is more than 10 kilometers from Shopian and lacks easy access to medical facilities.

“We hope the CRPF will conduct more camps in the future as well,” they added. — (KIMS)
