DDC member misbehaved with Cop on duty, case registered

Pulwama, Apr 8: A formal case has been registered against DDC member for misbehaving with policemen on duty in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Sources told that DDC Litter Mukhtihar Ahmed Bandh had visited Pulwama without informing police and while returning from Pulwama towards Srinagar his vehicle was intercepted at a checkpoint laid by Police Station Kakapora.

Sources added that DDC Litter lost his cool when his vehicle was stopped and he allegedly misbehaved with policemen on duty.

Police accordingly took cognizance of the incident and registered an FIR vide number 25/2021 under section 353 against Mukhtiyar Ahmed.

Police sources said that his vehicle was intercepted to ensure his safety but instead he misbehaved with the policemen on duty at the checkpoint. (KNT)
