Dry weather to continue in Jammu and Kashmir: MeT

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Dry weather will continue in Jammu and Kashmir for the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.

The weather was dry and sunny in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Mainly dry weather is likely in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 7.1 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 3.0 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 3.5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Tuesday.

In Jamm region, he said, Jammu recorded 17.4 degrees Celsius, Katra 16.0 degrees Celsius, Batote 11.5 degrees Celsius, Banihal 7.0 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 7.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded 2.5 degrees Celsius and Leh recorded minus 2.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
