NEW DELHI — The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced the polling schedules for assembly elections in five states in the month of November.
The states of Rajasthan, Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh will go to polls from November 7 to November 30 and the votes will be counted on December 3, 2023, the Election Commission said.
Mizoram is scheduled for polling on November 7, while Chhattisgarh will have elections in two phases, on November 7 and November 17. Madhya Pradesh will hold its elections on November 17, Rajasthan on November 23, and Telangana on November 30, the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Rajiv Kumar said.
