Explosion at Jammu Air Force Station: NIA team arrives for probe

JAMMU — A team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrived at Air Force Station in Jammu following drone attack late last night.

Two low intensity explosions took place in high security technical area of the Jammu Air Force Station. Initial inputs suggest that shaped charge (explosive device) were used for the explosions.

According to sources, a high-level investigation team of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will reach Jammu shortly. The possible target of the drones was the aircraft parked in the dispersal area, ANI reported.

Western Air Commander Air Marshal VR Chaudhary scheduled to visit Jammu airbase to review the ground situation. He would be briefed by the Indian Air Force officials on the incident, it added.
