SRINAGAR — The government of Jammu and Kashmir should ease the process of issuing income certificates to the students of Kashmir valley.
Reports said that the process of issuing income certificates is too lengthy and time consuming and takes a lot of time to students. This lengthy process is creating lot of problem to the students and also waste time and money.
Students while talking to Kashmir Independent Media Service – KIMS said, “We face lot of hardships while applying for income certificate. It takes us many days to get our work done,” adding “if there was an option of applying online for same, it would have eased the process and saved our time and money.”
Social activist Dr. Rizwan Rumi said that the government should take appropriate steps to ease the suffering of students and ensure that their time and energy is saved.
Dr. Rizwan in conversation with Kashmir Independent Media Service – KIMS said, “the administration should make the process of applying income certificates online that will save the time and energy of students. Due to its lengthy process it also hampers the routine work of the administration.”
The government should also held special camps to issue the income certificates
“At this time when government is promoting ‘Digital India’, the administration should make its process online that will only ease the burden on students,” Dr. Rizwan added. — (KIMS)
