Grenade lobbed towards CRPF vehicle in Shopian, no injury reported

SRINAGAR — Unknown persons on Thursday evening lobbed a grenade towards Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men at Keegam village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

However, there was no loss of life or injury during the incident.

An official said that a grenade was hurled towards CRPF personnel at Keegam, which exploded away from the gypsy. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident adding that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. — (KNO)
