NEW DELHI — Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Joint Secretary Manpreet Singh Mani along with office bearers and workers were detained by police in New Delhi on Monday (13-May-2022).
They were detained ahead of the proposed march by the Congress leaders over the summoning of party president Smt. Sonia Gandhi and leader Rahul Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
The Congress workers had gathered for the march against the federal agency on Monday were detained from areas around AICC office at Akbar road here and taken to Mandir Marg police station.
The Delhi Police had imposed Section 144 of CrPC preventing the assembly of more than four people in the area asking them not to violate the law. — (KIMS)
