SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir Students’ Association on Monday demanded probe into the mysterious death of a Kashmiri Student at RIMT University in Fatehgarh Sahab in Punjab.
In a statement, national spokesperson of the association, Nasir Khuehami said that he spoke to the Punjab Chief Minister’s Media Advisor, Raveen Thukral and brought the matter into his notice.
He said that he has requested him to intervene in the matter for fair investigation and it should meet its logical end.
Khuihami said that Chief Minister’s Advisor has assured every sort of help in the matter and informed that he will speak to SSP Fatehgarh Sahab for speedy investigation.
Meanwhile, Punjab coordinator of J&K Student Association, Mehraj Ahmad said words fell short to express sympathies with the bereaved family of the deceased.
He appealed to the Chief Minister of Punjab to constitute a team to probe the mysterious death of the Kashmiri student. — (KNO)
