SRINAGAR — J&K Students Association (JKSA) Tuesday expressed gratitude to External Affairs Ministry (EAM) and J&K’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for their efforts in evacuating Kashmiri Professors, who were stranded in Kabul, Afghanistan.
In a statement, Spokesperson of JKSA, Nasir Khuehami said that the association appreciates the prompt and quick response from External Affairs Ministry and Lieutenant Governor, adding that they have paid the valuable attention towards the Kashmiri Professors in Coordinating and facilitating them back to India.
He said the professors were stranded among other Indians in Afghanistan and “we brought the matter into the notice of LG Manoj Sinha, who immediately intervened and spoke to MoS MEA V Muraleedharan in this regard for their safe evacuation.” — (KNO)
