Mainly dry and clear weather in J&K till Nov 3: MeT

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Saturday forecast mainly dry and clear weather in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir till November 3, 2023.

An official of the Meteorological Department (MeT) said, “The weather will remain mainly dry and clear in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh till November 4.”

He said, “Light rain and snowfall over higher reaches is likely at scattered places of Jammu and Kashmir during November 4 to 5.”

Meanwhile, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded 3.7°C, Anantnag 0.9°C, Qazigund and Kupwara each 3.0°C, Kokernag 4.4°C, Gulmarg minus 1.2°C and Pahalgam 0.6°C as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Saturday.

The winter capital Jammu recorded 15.6°C, Katra 14.2°C, Batote 9.1°C, Bhaderwah 5.6°C and Banihal 4.3°C as the minimum temperature in Jammu region.

In Ladakh region, Leh recorded minus 3.0°C and Kargil minus 0.1°C as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
