SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A man has been arrested in Wahabpora area of Budgam district for cheating students on the pretext of promising admission in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
Police said, a fraudester namely Syed Abas Shah, son of Syed Yousuf Shah, a resident of Wahabpora Budgam was running an educational consultancy ‘Dr Minds’ at Parraypora Srinagar.
Abas was arrested for cheating/forgery with students for promising MBBS admission in Iran in lieu of payment, police said.
In this regard, police has registered a FIR No. 65/2023 under sections 468, 420 of IPC in Sadder Police Station and investigation has been taken up. — (KIMS)
