SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A man has been arrested for molesting and injuring a girl in Daulatabad Khanyar area of Srinagar, Police said on Wednesday.
Police said, A Molester namely Uzair Hameed Mir, Son of Abdul Hameed Mir, a resident of Daulatabad Khanyar was arrested for molesting and injuring a girl.
He gave lift to the victim (girl) and tried to molest her, when the girl resisted the molestation bid, he threw her from the car and injured her, they said.
The Car which was used for the commission of crime has also been seized, they said.
In this regard, a FIR in stringent sections has been registered in Rainawari Police Station and further investigation has been taken up. — (KIMS)
